心疼心疼心疼再加上心疼
I spent almost the whole day today in the hospital cuz my bro was undergoing a surgery. THe surgery was supposed to take only an hour but an hour passed an hour 10 mins, and hour 20 min an hour 30 min and hour 40 mins all passed and he still was in the surgery room. We went to the nurse and asked her if the surgery was done already and no it wasn't.. we waited and waited 2 hours had passed... then the doctor came out to the waiting lounge and talked to us... He had no smile on his face and his face was very solemn anyone who saw him would think that the worst had happened...he is like a different person ... He said the surgery was more complicated than he thought and he hadn't seen it like this before...he also said that he doens't usually ask patients to come back for check up after surgeries but for my bro's case he'd like to see him again in 2 weeks...... ...what he said makes me feel like he is realli unsure of how the surgery went... and it was certainly not something good to hear.... anyways.The surgery was finally now he was finally moved to the recovery room... We were sitll unable to see my brother.. still waiting thinking about what happened in the surgery.... then finally after another 45 min of staying in the torturing lounge we could finally see him.. we waited infront of the surgery room the nurse finally pushed my bro out. His whole body was shaking and shivering... we immediatly wrapped him in our jackets and asked for blankets... we stayed there and talked while my bro was chewing on the food the hospital provided. he was starving... THe hospital's management has problems my brother hasn't had food for 18 hours... and they asked us to come at 10 30 am when the actual surgery starts at 1 30... after we arrived and waited and waited for an hour the nurse finally asked my bro to go in and get changed and shaved up... BUT WHEN WE WERE AT THE CLINICE a few days ago when we asked if he neede dto shaved ETC.. the nurse there siad he DIDN"T need to .. and now we came here early and to SHAVE HERE? its was so inconvenient how r u supposed to shave and then wash ur self up with the sink? they could have told us earlier so he could have shaved at home when he took a shower and shorthen this lengthy unecessary wait...
after we get home ...it was even hard for hi to make minute movements like sitting up and lying down... He is feeling weak and painful right now. ANd he said he's feeling foriegn things in his body... we is sitll staying downstiars now because of too much pain it is impossible to walk upstairs into his room when lying down/ sitting up was a problem... it was just too much of a torture.. so he's staying downstairs sleepign on the sofa and so that we could easier take a better care of him. getting water... getting food.. help him lie down etc... by the way my dad's sleeping on the other piece of sofa downstairs too and my mom is still downstairs trying to cook some chicken soup for my brother to drink...I just hope that everything gets well soon. Mom has been crying and self blaming for not bringing him to do the surgery in taiwan .. my dad being a doctor he knows a few doctors who has done this type of surgery at least 100 000 times...but my mom thougth that it'd be the same doing here and comparing to doing it there... my dad also has a lot of self regrets... he was blaming himself for not noticing it earlier..... etc etc etc anwyas i just realli hope my bros get well soon and that the surgery did what it was suposed to do and will no longer feel forigen things in his body...anywas hope he gets well!
